Mariah

Ever since Mariah could walk, dancing became second nature. By the age of eight, Mariah took an extreme interest in Michael Jackson who was, and continues to be one of her biggest inspirations. Mariah was then discovered by a number of Toronto choreographers after formally enrolling in dance programs and studios. By the age of fifteen Mariah began to land gigs performing in corporate events, commercials and took the lead in "Bella Dancerella Highschool Musical 2 Dance Along". Following these successes, Mariah landed a number of principle and lead acting roles shown on networks such as CW, Family Channel, YTV, Slice, CBC and various nation wide commercials. Mariah then got accepted and completed all four years at Etobicoke School of The Arts in dance and drama performance. Although quite accomplished, Mariah wanted to push herself and do more. At the age of eighteen Mariah joined Sole Power Entertainment company as a principle dancer performing all over Toronto as well as auditioned for the Toronto Raptors Dance Pak and succeeded in gaining a spot on the incredible high skilled team. That same year in 2012, Mariah was asked to be apart of the NBA nation tour and perform in China, representing the dance palm. Today Mariah is currently a second season veteran on the Raptors Dance pak and wants to take the entertainment world by storm. Involving herself in all art forms and teaching jazz funk and hip hop for youth, she hopes to continue to succeed as a dancer and team member, but also guide and inspire her students to strive to their full potential!
